We were invited to a Children's Christmas Party at the home of one of my favorite school families. They originally invited our family, but since Alex was working and Aunt Lori is in town I decided I would ask if Noah could come too, and of course they said sure. We also brought Granna along, for one thing to add an extra set of hands but more importantly because she couldn't miss her grandboys seeing Santa for the first time.
That's right, we didn't have to wait in a long line at the mall, and we weren't forced to buy the overpriced and iffy-quality shot from the mall elves. Instead Santa came to this party, and not only that he brought a gift for every kid at the party! Santa called out each child's name and then had a gift especially selected for them. All the kids got to sit on Santa's lap. It was really sweet, the boys held up pretty well, and we had a really nice time. I am so thankful for the good people God has blessed my life with. What a special family The Dugans are, to invite us over for Christmas cheer and to buy gifts for some 30 or so kids!
Here are the boys opening their gifts from Santa- Smart Phones!
